What is Urban Entrepreneurship and Why is it Important?

Urban entrepreneurship is the process of creating and scaling innovative solutions to the social, environmental, and economic challenges faced by cities and their inhabitants. Urban entrepreneurs leverage the opportunities and resources of the urban environment to address the needs and aspirations of the urban population.
